Navigating Your Skills Dashboard

In this article, users will learn how to navigate the Skills Dashboard and how to use the tiering dashboard.

The Skills Dashboard will only populate data if there has been at least one completed Skills screener and those students tier's were set. If no previous screeners have been completed or tier placement has not been completed, no data will populate this window. Once the screening window is closed and the students have been placed in tiers, the tiering data will be available. Accessing Your Skills Dashboard

Your Support Bar

In the top right hand corner of your screen, there are some support tools for you to use.

  1. Quick Search: You can search and navigate to any pages or profiles from here.

  2. The Help Center: Here you will find various training articles that walk you through different aspects of the product, a frequently searched questions section, and a Skills resources folder.

  3. Navigate Schools: If you have access to multiple buildings/schools, you can use these arrows to navigate between them.

  4. Keyboard Commands: A list of functioning keyboard commands.

  5. Notifications Tab: Alerts you if you have any pending notifications.

  6. Account Setting: Update your account settings from here.

Your Skills Dashboard

Depending on what point in the Skills screening life-cycle you are, your Skills Dashboard will look different.

If you have never ran a screening window, your dashboard will look quite empty:

If you've created a screening window, you will notice a yellow notification bar will populate the top portion of your dashboard:

If you have a closed screening window and need to tier your students:

Navigate the Skills Dashboard

  1. Select between which screening window you'd like to see the data for.

  2. Total number of students enrolled in the school.

  3. Link to complete your tiering.

  4. Download a spreadsheet that shows Satchel Pulse's tier recommendation.

  5. A link to the most recent screening window.

  1. The tier, number of students in that tier, and a link to view your tier one students.

  2. View the students who moved or stayed in their previous tier.

  3. If you have multiple screening windows, you will see a trend of the average score for that tier.
