Students will have access to a new and improved Futures Portal (formerly referred to as the Student Portal) to access their self-assessment and any Futures Portal lessons that are assigned for them to complete.
As a Lead, you are able to assign certain premium resources classified as Self Study or Challenges to your students' Futures Portal and they can complete at their own pace.
Filter for the Correct Lesson Type
From the Skills library, you will want to filter by the correct resource type because not all of the resource types will function with the Futures Portal. You are able to find these lessons using two different filtering types.
The different types of lessons found in the Skills library are:
SELessons- These are the premium tier 1 resources that are typically used in a whole group setting. You cannot assign these to the Futures Portal. These are meant to be teacher facing/small group lessons.
Lesson- A basic, small group lesson. You cannot assign these to the Futures Portal. These are meant to be teacher facing/small group lessons.
Intervention plan- A more advanced small group lesson. You cannot assign these directly to the Futures Portal. These are meant to be teacher facing/small group lessons.
Challenge- An independent Futures Portal lesson. This can be assigned directly to the student's Futures Portal and access by the student.
Self study- An independent Futures Portal lesson. This can be assigned directly to the student's Futures Portal and access by the student.
Calm space- A safe, calming space that students can calm down and reflect in. An independent Futures Portal lesson. This is available through the Futures Portal.
Select Your Resource
***Not all of the resources located in the Skills library can be assigned to and accessed from the Futures Portal. Only the following lessons will function correctly with the Futures Portal:

Calm space
Each resource has a card that shows you which CASEL competency, a brief description, if the resource is a premium resource or not, the type of resource, and how many views this resource has had.
Assign the Lesson
You can view a few different things before assign the lesson to your group:
Lesson's information.
Summary of the lesson and the CASEL competency of focus.
Resource creator.
View the lesson and assign!
From the Assign Intervention Page:

Select which intervention students, group, or class you want to assign the lesson to.
